Not to be outdone by her former flame Nick Lachey in the headline department, Jessica Simpson created a buzz today with a mention on People.! com ... the reason? She's wearing her wedding ring again, albeit, around her neck."You can still move on and have the memories," a Simpson insider tells PEOPLE.
The source also told the mag that Simpson, 25, still keeps in touch with her soon-to-be-ex-hubby, Nick Lachey, 32. "Nick will always be an important part of her life."
Along with her wedding band, Simpson also wears two crosses on the chain, one from her folks and the other is a copy of a cross worn by her mom Tina, and her little sis, Ashlee.
The items around Jessica's neck are "a combination of things that are important to her," reports the source.
As for Lachey, an insider in his camp says, "He wants Jessica to be happy ... But they've both moved on." Source
